2026 Objectives

— A season to move forward, the right way… together

2026 will be a season built with intention, with a clear direction: moving forward the right way.

A season where pleasure takes its place again, where choices are deliberate, and where desire matters as much as performance.

And above all, a season to share: meaningful routes, adventures ridden as a pair, and that particular dynamic that exists only when you move forward together.

The Gravel Earth Series — Santa Vall, Gravel Desert, The Traka — are stepping stones.
Fast, nervous races, perfect for finding benchmarks, testing the engine, and assessing my condition. High pace, no concessions. Ideal for knowing where I stand before switching to longer efforts.

In the middle of this preparation sits FlatLandes, the event Phil and I are developing.
The 200 km remains the core, the 100 km needs to be confirmed, and the idea of a future ultra floats in the background — but not for 2026. Before going longer, we need to consolidate, refine, validate. Build before stretching the line.

But the strongest focus of the season lies elsewhere: the challenges shared with my brother.

He was there in the hardest moments, from the first days of my Guillain-Barré. Today, our levels have aligned. We ride with the same rhythm, the same intent. After losing our father this year, riding together takes on another meaning — something strong, demanding, almost necessary.

Two events define this direction:

  • French Road 66 — 666 km, half road, half gravel
A physical and mental line, where clarity and synchronicity will be essential.
  • The Bright Midnight — 1200 km of gravel across Norway
Endless daylight, silence, continuous progression. An adventure requiring control and real solidarity.

2026 will also be a year of off-format adventures: trips, long routes, no race number, no event logistics. Moving forward for the sake of moving forward. Finding myself alone with the distance. Picking up my camera again — documenting, creating, telling another kind of story.

2026 will be a simple and honest season: races to test myself, projects to build, adventures to share, and the will to trace lines that matter.
